Great time for myself , friend and our 3 daughters 15, 11 and 7 Relaxed uses spa pool as soon as arrived and our room was ready at 3pm and they put us in joining rooms. Note children under 16 can not use hot tub. Which the older girls were a little disappointed about but the pool was warm and shallow so we relaxed and played about. Dinner we made reservations when arrived was lovely, although kids menu good value for money. Main menu was expensive for what the food was although we all enjoyed. It would benefit from having pizzas on there as the older girls ordered from the childrens menu because the menu was complicated. The grown ups loved the food pulled pork burger and Angus cheese lovely. The staff were super attentive and helped us enjoy our stay. We were able to get towels from the leisure desk which was great. The rooms were gorgeous and spacious we all enjoyed our slumber party. Could do with a little fridge in the rooms to keep drinks cool. But all in all a fantastic stay good value for money

This is a beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. We were here for work but managed to make the most of the facilities too. The pool and spa areas were handy, not overly busy but were in need of some TLC along with other areas of the hotel. The staff on the whole were very friendly and helpful but I would say the staff in the club house could be a little more aware of service and ideally not stand chatting with eachother and ignoring customers when there’s a que forming at the bar! Drinks and food were extortionate. We had breakfast both mornings as we had pre-paid but I wish we hadn’t and we would have spent the second morning elsewhere. The fresh fruits selection was good but the quality of the cooked breakfast was pretty appalling!! It put us off dining there on an evening and we went elsewhere. I would happily stay again when in the area but I wouldn’t add breakfast on and I’d go prepared knowing 2 glasses of wine would set me back £28!!

Good, fresh selection at breakfast. I would have liked something in the bathroom to put my toothbrush in and 2 face towels would have been good. There weren’t any flannels. Fortunately I took some just in case. The bed was comfortable so were the pillows. Unfortunately the safe didn’t work in our room but as we were only staying one night we didn’t bother reporting it. The room was a good size so didn’t feel claustrophobic.

Both my partner and I ( ages 86 and 80 ) stayed at the hotel whilst attending an Andre Rieu concert. The hotel and staff were excellent as was the dining. The grounds of the Forest of Arden hotel were magnificent, a real breath of the country. We travelled by rail and used taxis to and from the venue with the average fare for four journeys being £14:50.

Deluxe room had everything needed for the night stay. Enjoyed the hot tub jacuzzi, steam/sauna, and the exercise bike in studio. Leisure staff were helpful, and the changing rooms M/F were separate. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Lunch at Zest was lovely and the food options were great. Check-out to midday was ideal. Thanks for everything!
